In 2009 our goal was to take one hundred wheelchairs to the Holy Land. However, throught that process we identified a need far great than we could have possibly imaged. To date we have delivered hundreds of wheelchairs to Israel. During our distributions we are also able to deliver crutches, commodes, walkers, canes and other related clinical equipment.
Through our partnership with Hats for Orphans we also distribute handmade hats and blankets with each wheelchair.
Wheelchar and supplies are delivered to all those in need, whether they are Christian, Muslim or Jew throughout Israel and the West Bank.

For many of these childre, reveibing a wheelchair creates an almost incomprehensible lifestyle change: they are able to move-on their own-for the first time.
These children have spent their lives in bed, depending on others to carry themfrom place to place, but the delivery of a wheelchair changes all of that.
The retail price for a wheelchair can exceed $5,000, putting this medical necessity out of reach of most Israeli and Palestinian families. These wheelchairs are delivered to the children by Wheelchair Angel volunteers and are meticulously fit for each child’s specific illness, injury, or disability.
